AFROPUNK Festival has returned back to Brooklyn’s Commodore Barry Park for its 10th year of a weekend of live music. My first time attending this festival and it won’t be my last. This festival was so good that I never wanted to leave. The amount of energy from those people, the band and that “unique” smell in the air that only the people in the hood would know about had me hanged. There would so many talent artists that I forgot to photograph it, however, not everything must be photographed but viewed in the moment. Next year, if AFROPUCK Fest happens to in the neighborhood, I’ll make sure to capture as much footage as possible.
